Dear Students,
New Year Greetings from Geo Genius!
Due to the global pandemic as the schools are not  functioning  offline , we were not able to  conduct the  Geography Olympiad in the academic year 2020-21.
Keeping up with our mission to develop interest in geography and to stimulate the competitive spirit amongst the students we are coming up with a Geo Genius Project competition . The details of the same are as follows :

* There is no registration fee for the competition.
*Students can select a topic from the ones given below and submit an online project.
*Last date for registration is March 31 , 2021.

*Last date for Project submission is  June 30, 2021
* A participation Certificate will be awarded to all the participants.
* Three winners from each category will be awarded with a Trophy and a Merit Certificate.
* Winning projects will be uploaded on the organization 's official website and Facebook page with the picture of the winner along with the name,  school and city.

Topics for the project are as follows:

Sub Juniors Category
Classes 2,3 and 4
Topic: Make a creative project about your state briefly remarking the rivers, state symbols, national parks, places of historical importance, cuisine, culture,  famous people and also highlighting the fun facts.
Support it with an outline map of your state marking its geographical location.
Number of pages: 4 to 5

Juniors  Category
Classes 5,6 and 7
Topic : Tracing the history and geography of your state, understand and describe its impact on the culture and cuisine in the region.
Number of pages : 6 to 8

Seniors Category
Classes 8,9 and 10
Topic:  Earth's plate tectonic has crafted mountains and oceans, incandescent volcano and new lands. Understand and explain the tectonic jigsaw of our home planet Earth.
Number of pages : 8 to 10

Mode of presentation for all categories:
*The project should be in PDF format (handwritten/ typed)
*Charts/maps/ pictures can be used to make the project creative and innovative.
* PDF file (mentioning name/class/group/ School name in the first page of the file) to be mailed   at:

*Only soft copies of the  projects will be accepted. No hard copies to be sent.
